Why buy used?
The fact that a machine is being replaced rarely means it is worn out. Quite the opposite, in fact. Many of the balers that come back to us have been replaced for reasons that have nothing to do with wear:
Changing requirements
A customer who has grown and needs to bale larger volumes often upgrades to a more powerful model. The existing machine is still fully operational.
Increased capacity
Changed material flows, a new line of business or a restructuring can mean that a perfectly functioning machine no longer fits that particular operation – but fits another one perfectly.
Generational change in the machine fleet
With larger investments, several machines are sometimes replaced at the same time, regardless of their individual condition. A Presona baling press is built to last for decades. With the right maintenance, it keeps performing long after the first owner has moved on.
