With a horizontal baler from Presona you will get consistent, high density bales which will decrease your transport costs. Also, our balers with prepress technology uses less energy than conventional balers. This will reduce your impact on the environment and lower your operational costs.
Answer a few simple questions about a material, capacity needs and tying material, and we’ll guide you directly to the baler that best matches your specific needs.
The LP 50 baler is suitable for baling operations with small to medium throughput requirements. It can process up to 13 tonnes of cardboard per hour and has a combined press force of 75 tonnes.
Capacity: 6–13 t/h for cardboard
LP 60 can compact most materials and can be equipped with a cross strapping unit. It can process up to 18 tonnes of cardboard per hour or more and has a combined press force of 85 tonnes.
Capacity: 11–18 t/h for cardboard
The LP 85 baler is a high performance baler with exemplary robustness. This baler with an added cross strapping unit is the perfect choice for obtaining high density bales when baling plastic. The LP 85 has a combined press force of 113 tonnes.
Capacity: 14–21 t/h for Cardboard
This baler is ideal for high-material throughput applications. The baler is available in ten different configurations – with two feed opening sizes and two bale sizes. The LP 110 can process up to 29 tonnes/hour for Cardboard and has a combined press force of 164 tonnes.
Capacity: 15–29 t/h for cardboard
The MP 270 MH is intended for recycling and sorting plants or other businesses that bale large quantities of material. It has super-high capacity while being very cost effective. Total press force is 270 tonnes.
Capacity: 45 t/h for cardboard
The EP 40 OH is a baler developed for the printing, packaging and graphic industry, but can of course be used for other applications as well. The baler is typically fed by means of a pneumatic feeding system and is the only Presona baler without prepress.
Capacity: 3–10 t/h for die-cut waste

We have been designing, producing and maintaining balers since the 1940’s and have a large network of resellers around the globe. There are Presona horizontal balers in more than 65 countries and they have all been built to the highest standard in our factory in southern Sweden.
With our pre-press system your baler will no longer cut off excess material. Instead it will rely on an initial pre-compression step to achieve the best bales.
With a pre-press the baler will use all of its power for compaction and thereby reducing the energy usage significantly compared to a shear baler.
This technology also gives you more consistent bales.
Do you want to bale cardboard, aluminium, plastic film, hollow containers, plastic bottles, mixed paper, newspaper, packaging waste, RDF, SRF, municipal waste or some other material? We can help you.
Our balers use prepress technology. This means 30% lower energy consumption than equivalent shear balers, less wear and lower maintenance costs.
The right baler is chosen based on several factors: desired capacity (t/h), the material’s properties (type, size and pre-density), as well as requirements for bale size and density. The available space in the premises also plays a role. Contact our sales team for personal consultation.
Our balers handle many types of material as standard, including corrugated cardboard (OCC), paper, board and cartonboard (PPK), plastic film (LDPE), rigid plastic (HDPE), PET, aluminium cans (AL), household waste (RDF, SRF and MSW) as well as paper and plastic trim.
The standard sizes are 1100x750xvariable mm (WidthxHeightxLength) and 1100x1100xvariable mm – “large bale”.
There are no fixed prices as we tailor every baling press to the customer’s needs.
Presona’s balers are high-quality products with a very long service life. Under normal operation and with proper maintenance, the lifespan is 20+ years.
