Paper trim

Paper trim

Paper trim or paper edge trim are excess edges that has been cut from rolls or sheets of paper in the paper production process. Paper mills and paper packaging industries handles large amounts of paper trim. Trim is collected and recycled to make new paper.

A common way of dealing with the trimmings is to use a waste extraction system that collects them, by the use of air, into a baler for compaction. This method is also widely used for plastic trim.

The following Presona balers are designed to bale paper trim and plastic trim (and other materials).

Our balers for paper trim

LP 50

The LP 50 baler is suitable for baling operations with small to medium throughput requirements. It can process up to 13 tonnes of cardboard per hour and has a combined press force of 75 tonnes.

Kapacitet: 6–13 t/h for cardboard

LP 60

LP 60 can compact most materials and can be equipped with a cross strapping unit. It can process up to 18 tonnes of cardboard per hour or more and has a combined press force of 85 tonnes.

Kapacitet: 11–18 t/h for cardboard

LP 85

The LP 85 baler is a high performance baler with exemplary robustness. This baler with an added cross strapping unit is the perfect choice for obtaining high density bales when baling plastic. The LP 85 has a combined press force of 113 tonnes.

Kapacitet: 14–21 t/h for Cardboard

LP 110

This baler is ideal for high-material throughput applications. The baler is available in ten different configurations – with two feed opening sizes and two bale sizes. The LP 110 can process up to 29 tonnes/hour for Cardboard and has a combined press force of 164 tonnes.

Kapacitet: 15–29 t/h for cardboard

EP 40

The EP 40 OH is a baler developed for the printing, packaging and graphic industry, but can of course be used for other applications as well. The baler is typically fed by means of a pneumatic feeding system and is the only Presona baler without prepress.

Kapacitet: 3–10 t/h for die-cut waste
